Rock en Seine 2027: festival comes to a halt, see you in 2028

It's official! There will be no Rock en Seine in 2027. After more than twenty years of bringing the musical summer to a close at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, the Parisian festival has announced a one-year break. The organizers have just confirmed the news in a press release addressed to the public, with a return now set for August 23 to 27, 2028.
This is due to several constraints linked to development works planned around the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. The construction work is expected to complicate access to the site and call into question the conditions for welcoming the public. Faced with this situation, the team explained that they explored various possibilities, without managing to find a solution that would allow the festival to be held under the desired conditions.
Rather than offering a compromised edition, Rock en Seine prefers to take a break in 2027. A decision that marks a major change for one of the key events of the Parisian summer, which usually brings together tens of thousands of festival-goers around major headliners and musical discoveries.

We will therefore have to wait until the summer of 2028 to experience the festival's usual format again. The reunion has already been announced for August 23 to 27, with five days of concerts at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. A forced pause, but a date already set for what comes next.
